Destigmatized Decisions

Confident, self-assured men aren’t supposed to care about how they look.

That’s been the narrative since the beginning of time—but things are changing.

In 2022, over 1.4 million male patients received minimally invasive aesthetic procedures—a remarkable 253% increase from 2019.

What’s causing this shift?

One reason is a change in cultural norms. When resources were scarce and mortality rates were high, men were relied on to provide, fight, hunt, and protect the tribe. Fast forward to 2025, and a drone can deliver your next Uber Eats order.

Humans can’t shake the innate traits we’re judged on overnight—but over time, how we evaluate ourselves and others begins to take a new shape.

As more men restore their hair and say to the world, “I care about how I look and I’m willing to do something about it,” it opens the door for others who’ve been quietly considering doing the same.

That was my experience.

I wanted to be seen as that confident, self-assured man—100% comfortable in his own skin. But I wasn’t.

Seeing celebrities like Theo Von and Wayne Rooney openly talk about their hair transplants—and hearing the same from friends and family in my own circle—gave me the confidence to do something about my own receding hairline.

I hope my story encourages other balding men to consider their options. The effect on my confidence has been significant, and I truly love the way I look.

The truth is, we have a limited time on this earth—and an even more limited time in our prime. If having a full head of hair would bring you joy, boost your confidence, and give you one less thing to stress about, take the leap.

The world is ready for it.
